Introduction
Objective:
The objective is to build a data base of Institutions which offer education, training and research opportunities in water related topics throughout the world. The section will be of use both to such institutions in providing exposure for their courses and programs, and it will be of use to prospective students, researchers and managers who are looking for this information.
Contents:
The service comprises a database of information submitted by education and training institution giving details of courses and programs , costs and contact details. Each submission is available as a page of information and the whole database is searchable.
Who should join the database?
Water is a vast topic involving a wide range of disciplines and interests from hydraulic engineering to social mobilisation, from environmental and public health issues to business management. All disciplines are welcome and encouraged. Education and training also takes many forms from Universities offering under- and post-graduate degrees to Institutes offering diploma courses and training events. All should add their information to the database.
Search the database:
The database is searchable by any combination of key words, country, city etc.
Reviewing Institutions:
It is also possible to review the Institutions via the Main List which will contain a full listing of all Institutions on the database.
